Link to news story: B-1 Visas revoked for 7 out of the 11 Italian Welders

As it turns out, the welders working on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas are not all Italians. The welders are actually working for a sub-contractor to Cimolai,USA,LLC. The B-1 Visa is not allowed to be used for construction work.

There are still 4 foreign workers left working under the B-1 Visitor Visas. There is an active investigation being done by the DOL Wage & Hour Division, Immigrations & Customs Enforcement (ICE), OSHA and the Texas Workforce Commission.
